TEAM TOMMY—

Sorry about the lapse in the last 2 days, we have not been sleeping much.  Tommy just doesn’t seem to be comfortable in any position.  Thursday night, Billy and I were up all night with him, trying to find something or someway to soothe him to sleep. No luck.  Friday morning was spent trying to catch up with sleep one at a time and keep up with doctors.  Billy left for work around 2:30pm and Tommy and I went for a walk.  We ate a late breakfast/lunch in the cafeteria and then went for a stroll outside.  My cousin, Melissa and her husband, Josh walked outside with us and visited with Tommy and I for about 45 minutes.  Tommy and I then went upstairs to the Theatre room to look at the stars for another 30 minutes or so.  Then it was back to the room for meds and just in time to see the GI team that had been consulted on Tommy’s G-tube.  The doctor was very nice and decided that we would get that tube changed Monday morning!! YEAH!  This was needed because we are continually having issues with this one getting clogged when meds are given.  Friday night was looking like it was going to be another long night (1am and still not asleep), when I just happen to start patting Tommy’s lower tummy and humming—and VOILA!  Tommy was asleep and I mean—mouth open, head back, snoring sounds asleep.  He stayed asleep (through brief changing and turning every 2 hours) until about 9 am this morning.  Thank you Lord for themuch needed rest for both of us.  We are both about to get cleaned up and ready for the day, Jill will be here around 3pm.  I am then off to home to check on Billy as he has taken on the task to get the fence finished today.

We have a meeting set up with all 4 parents and the doctors on Wednesday at 3pm.  We will need every last person to be praying that day at that time for the news that we will be receiving.  No matter what it may be or bring, it is all in God’s hands and His will.  We love you all.  Thank you to those that have and still are donating so much time and effort to helping Jill and Craig with Tommy’s room—You are much appreciated.

All our love,

Sarah and Family
