TEAM TOMMY,
To catch everyone up on what has been going on in the past few days… it has been verified that Tommy had two strokes over the past two weeks and has had a million or so tests since then to try to find the cause. Tomorrow morning Tommy is scheduled for a series of MRA’s on his neck, chest, abdomen and pelvis to see if the vasculitis (narrowing of the blood vessels) they found in his brain is also in other parts of his body. The doctors seem to think that they will not find this condition in the other parts and that the condition in his brain is from his injury. If this is the case the doctors will meet with us to discuss treatment options and the severity of the condition. All I can tell you right now is that the doctors are concerned and have stated that the treatment of the condition will need to be agressive and start immediately if it is confined to the brain. I will do my best to let all of you know what is happening as soon as I know. There is a possibilty that this condition is serious and dangerous for Tommy, so please fire up the prayer circle.
