TEAM TOMMY,
Here is the latest. Tommy’s CT following the adjustment to his shunt showed two lesions in his brain. When the doctors at TIRR saw this they immediately called the neurosurgeon and had him read the results. The decision from all of the above was to move Tommy back to Hermann immediately. I got here about 11:30 pm and shortly after that Tommy was taken back for another CT to compare to the one from yesterday. The results were about the same and they are now scheduling a shuntogram to make sure the shunt is draining as it is designed to, a MRI and a MRA. The big concern of all the doctors is that Tommy might have had a stroke which caused the lesions. This is not a final diagnosis and we will not know for sure until all the test are completed sometime later this morning. I will let all of you know more as we know more. Please pray for our boy.
