update from Dad 03-20-09 10:00 pm
TEAM TOMMY,
A long day back here at TIRR. Tommy has spent most of the day storming. We are unsure if it is due to the recent surgery or just having a bad day. He is finally sleeping well and Sarah and I are getting ready to turn in ourselves. We have a 1/2 hour speech session in the morning at 8 am then PT will meet with us to work on transferring Tommy from his wheelchair to our vehicle and then we will figure out if Tommy will be able to ride in the car or if it is going to take a specialty van.
We did get to spend about an hour outside today and the weather was great. Tommy seemed to relax a little while we were out there rolling him around the outside sitting area. We hope that tomorrow is less stressful and more productive for him. I will let everyone know how it goes tomorrow afternoon. Keep those prayers going. We love you all, Billy
