Update from Stepmom 3/19 @ 10 pm
Good Evening TEAM TOMMY
Sorry for such a late update. We were moved from Memorial Hermann Children’s to TIRR late this afternoon. We had a nice bath and are now settling in for the night. We sat up next to the bed in a real chair again for about an hour and we also got a visit from the therapy dogs. Everyone has been coming by and saying hello and that they were glad to see us. Our tech this evening, Lisa, even requested to have us on top of her other patients.
Tommy is getting some meds right now and will hopefully have a great nights sleep as tomorrow he will not be able to just lay around. It will be a busy day tomorrow.
Pray for Jill and Craig as they are trying to get the house ready for Tommy’s homecoming next week. I know that it is a great task to accomplish in such a short time.
